Wander the creek to Stanthorpe

If you love an early morning stroll or just want to leave the car at home, you can take the Heritage Trail by Quart Pot Creek all the way to the centre of town. An easy walk amongst the peaceful bushland you can explore the granite terrain, spot wildlife playing in their natural habitat and even look for yabbies in the rock pools. If you are a bird lover you will be treated to an abundance of must-see species on any list.

A comfortable walk for any age and fitness level, we recommend flat comfortable shoes, a hat, water and camera be packed; and the best time of day is early morning or late afternoon before the sun sets.

Animal Encounters

With over 30 acres of natural bush setting, Diamondvale Estate is home to both our resident farm animals and pets as well as a range of wildlife. Guests can relax on the grounds and watch kangaroos, wallabies and a large variety of birds, graze, nest, and play.
